DrawPortal is an Ad-supported App with an optional Ad-free subscription service and In-App purchases (thus following the Freemium model). The SERVICE is provided by Sailing Crab Studio at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Draw Portal unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
DrawPortal collects and uses email addresses for the express purpose of identifying the user for one-on-one collaborative network sessions as well as attributing purchased subscriptions and in-app purchases. The user’s email address is stored on a secure server and not shared with any other party. The email address is not visible to any other user of the Service. To be discoverable in the DrawPortal system by email address (or nickname for Guest accounts) the user must disclose their information outside of our Service or initiate the exchange of contacts.
If you do not wish to disclose your email address to us you can access most of DrawPortal functions via the Guest account (Subscriptions and In-App purchases cannot be used with a Guest account). With a Guest account the server stores a nickname chosen by the user and uses the nickname for network drawing sessions.
In one-on-one network sessions DrawPortal transfers image data as drawn by the user and as well as chat via a secure server. This information is deleted from the server immediately upon delivery and is never intentionally stored. It is, however, possible due to networking errors for the last fragments sent to remain on the server until either an administrator cleans it out or the user initiates a new drawing session. Please also note that data transferred by DrawPortal is not end-to-end encrypted. DrawPortal drawing sessions and chat are not intended for sensitive materials.
DrawPortal will only begin transferring image and chat data once the user either initiates a drawing session by inviting another user in the system or accepts an invite.
Other information DrawPortal may store on server include: the DrawPortal application package name, application install source (ie, Google Play Store), app version, timestamp of the last login, user country code, purchases the user has made, overall time spent in the App, overall server bandwidth used by DrawPortal, number of Adverts shown and connection status (whether the user is currently using DrawPortal or not). This data is used for proper functioning of the App, administration purposes as well as preventing fraud. None of this information is considered personally identifiable or sensitive.
DrawPortal may also store a contact list locally on the user’s device. This contact list is created by the user and is comprised of the email addresses or nicknames of the accounts the user wishes to collaborate with in one-on-one drawing sessions. The user may empty the contact list manually via the App or remove it entirely by uninstalling DrawPortal. All drawings saved or received via the Mail function will also be removed upon App uninstall.
Account deletion
Account deletion is easy with DrawPortal. Selecting “Delete Account” from the login menu will remove all data pertaining to the said user from our servers, as well as the contact list stored locally for that user. Network access is required at the moment of account deletion. If a network error or any other kinds of error occurs during account deletion the user will be informed and given options of recourse (usually Signing in with the same account and making a second attempt, or contacting administration).
Third party services
While we do not explicitly collect any other information, DrawPortal does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. You may opt-out of some of these services. For example, you may opt-out of crash reporting and Google Analytics (see Settings menu). If you purchase a subscription the App will stop services used to collect information for Ad serving purposes and remove the Ads.

Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error (crash) in the App we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the App may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
